A listening room and a drum machine for the song you already have on.
Two dusty drum machines that play in your browser. In Chrome and on the Mac, a listening room puts vinyl, tape, and a siren on whatever you are playing. 🕯️
30 days free, then $12.99 once. No subscription. No account to start.
📱 iPhone and Android apps are coming soon. The web machine already fits your phone.
Everything is in the box.
-
The MP 2X
Sixteen pads on your keyboard. Patterns, swing, quantize, and a song arranger. A demo beat is loaded, so the first press already sounds good.
-
The SP 40
The darker machine. Its own kits, its own effects, the same keys. Switch with one click.
-
The listening room
Vinyl wow, dust, tape, warmth, a filter, and a siren on the tab you are playing. Close it, and the song goes back to normal. Chrome and Mac.
-
72 kits, made in code
Boom bap, dusty, basement, 808, jazz-hop, house, dub, reggae, keys, and bass. Bring your own sounds too: drop a WAV on a pad.
-
Keys, octaves, and MIDI
Play a kit like a keyboard and move it up or down. Plug in a controller and map any knob.
-
Save it your way
SAVE writes the project, a WAV bounce, or stems for your DAW. Rsmp prints the machine onto a pad.
Your tab, through the room.
Click Drop on a tab that is playing. The song comes through a walnut turntable with real knobs: wow, age, warmth, hiss, tone, and a filter. Hold H for the siren.
It plays on your device, live. Nothing is kept or sent anywhere. Close the room, and the tab sounds like it did before.
The room lives in the Chrome extension and the Mac app. A website cannot hear another tab, so the web version is the two drum machines.
Beats from real people.
Save a beat as a tape and drop it in the crate. Somebody else spins it, takes it home, and flips it on their machine. Each week the whole house flips one kit.

Good to know.
Do I need an account?
No. Open Drop and play. An account is only for signing what you share in the community and keeping your receipt.
What happens after 30 days?
You can keep playing both machines for free. Saving and bouncing your beats, the full kit wall, and the older drops are $12.99 once, for good. Your beat stays in the machine while you decide.
Is it a subscription?
No. It is one payment. There is nothing to cancel.
What does the listening room do?
It plays the tab you are on through vinyl, tape, and siren effects, live, on your own device. The sound is not kept or sent to us. It is in the Chrome extension and the Mac app.
Can I use my own sounds?
Yes. Drag a WAV onto a pad, or use Mic. Rsmp prints what the machine is playing onto a pad, so you can chop your own beat.
Can I put the sounds in a song I sell?
Yes. The house kits and packs are royalty-free for anything you make. Just do not resell the sounds themselves.
Does it work with my MIDI controller?
Yes, in Chrome and on the Mac. Click a pad or a knob, then move a control on your box. Drop remembers the map for that controller.
Can I take my beat into my DAW?
Yes. SAVE gives you a WAV bounce, or stems with one file per track. The project file opens right back up in Drop.
Does it work on my phone?
The web machine fits a phone today. Tap Play it now. The iPhone and Android apps are coming soon.
The sound license: House sounds are royalty-free for anything you make. Do not resell the sounds themselves. Credit welcome, never required.
